Trade Assess Australia helps eligible applicants have their trade skills assessed against Australian standards for their nominated occupation to support migration outcomes. We provide clear guidance on what to prepare, what to expect, and how to apply with confidence.

Who we are​

Trade Assess Australia is a division of Orange College, a registered training organisation (RTO) with 10 years of experience in the Australian vocational education and training sector.

Orange College is appointed through the Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) Assessment Services Panel to deliver skills assessment services for selected trade occupations.

Our assessments follow TRA program requirements and evaluate applicants’ skills, knowledge, and employment experience against Australian benchmarks for their nominated occupation.

Who we are​

Orange College is a well-established Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with 10 years’ experience in the Australian vocational education and training (VET) sector. We deliver a broad range of VET courses to both international and domestic students, with a strong focus on practical skills, industry relevance, and quality learning support.​

Through Trade Assess Australia, Orange College provides TRA-aligned skills assessments for eligible applicants who need to have their trade skills assessed for migration or temporary work purposes. ​

Our role in
TRA Skills Assessments

Orange College is appointed by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) Assessment Services Panel to deliver skills assessment services for selected trade occupations. We deliver these services under our Trade Assess Australia brand. Our assessment process follows TRA program requirements and focuses on whether an applicant’s skills, knowledge, and employment experience meet the Australian benchmark for their nominated occupation.
